We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer who wants to take a key role in technically advanced development projects. You will work in a team with other engineers and be responsible for requirements management, design, technical documentation, and the development of technical specifications.

The role involves active participation in the development of both airborne and land-based products, where precision, quality, collaboration, and a strong drive are crucial. The work is primarily conducted in Siemens NX (CAD), Teamcenter, and IFS (PDM), and you will work closely with production and other technical areas to ensure efficient, sustainable, and industrializable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for requirements management as well as the development and structuring of technical documentation and specifications
• Design of mechanical components, primarily for machining
• Technical problem-solving and analysis, as well as active improvement work of products and processes
• Collaboration with production during ramp-up and industrialization of new products and processes
• Work cross-functionally and coordinate activities between different departments

• Has a university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Has at least 3 years of experience in similar work within mechanical design
• Has experience in requirements management and technical documentation
• Has experience in design for machining and a good understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, and quality requirements
• Has a good understanding of production processes, production flows, and mechanical principles
• Has experience with CAD and PLM systems, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Has fluent skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience with IFS is an advantage but not a requirement.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where the client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
